Still Hoping

Oh dawn, whose light i seek,
That when others chorus in joy
And i remember my loneliness,
That I may continue hoping for a better morn.

Oh morn, whose warmth eludes me,
That when others share their successes
And i remember my lack n poverty,
That I may push on, hoping for a better day.

Oh day, whose embrace i need,
That when others smile at the fullness of life
And i remember the emptiness of mine,
That I may hope in a better tomorrow,
Of better things that i yet do not see.

Is it You?

I didn't get your name,
I didn't get your number,
I didn't notice that the stars were aligned,
But I noticed you.

We spent a little time,
We knew each other a bit,
But, oops, I think I tripped,
Cause now my heart wants more.

We spoke a little while,
We exchanged smiles and laughs,
And, oops, I think I tripped,
Cause now I am hoping to see you again.

Could I get to know you more?
Do you have someone already?
Would you consider me?
After all these lonely cold nights, could you be her?

Where is she?

I peered high.
I ducked low.
Where is she, that one true love?

I looked to the left.
I squinted to the right.
Where is she, who will squeeze into the picture with me?

I stared in front.
I glanced behind.
Where is she, the one meant for me?
